ASOC has 3 vacancies to fill for the Spring 2012 term. One Junior Class Senator, one Campus Wide Senator, and one Honor Board Juror position are available. Click here for petitions and more info.

I want to begin by thanking all the candidates and students who voted in the election. The results of the election are as followed:

In regards to the Honor Board juror election there was a misinterpretation of the Honor Board constitution. While we thought there was a vacant juror position there was not. I apologize to both the candidates and all the students who voted.

The Chief of Staff is an appointed officer of ASOC Senate. The Chief of Staff is a paid position ($10.00/hr). Duties include:

1. Attend all Senate meetings and be responsible for keeping accurate minutes of them.
2. Make available a copy of the minutes at least 48 hours prior to the next Senate meeting.
3. Keep accurate records of funding requests and submit such approved requests to the ASOC Finance Manager within 48 hours of Senate approval.
4. Attend all executive and training sessions.
5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Senate.
